David W. Dicks

David W. Dicks of Caro, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at home, with his family by his side. He was born October 4, 1952 in Marlette, the son of the late Robert and Leola (Gould) Dicks. Dave graduated from Marlette high school and upon graduation was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On January 20, 1973, Dave married the love of his life, the former Laurene Killinger. Their marriage was blessed with over forty-six years and countless memories. Sadly, Laurene passed away on May 23, 2019. Dave worked for over forty-five years in parts sales for John Deere. His job was his passion, if you needed a part, day or night, Dave would make sure you had it. He was a member of the Caro Church of the Nazarene and in his spare time he enjoyed watching sports on TV. Dave will be missed dearly for years to come.
